How Domestic Hot Water Heat Pump Works
The system begins by drawing in ambient air through a fan. This air’s energy is then transferred to a refrigerant in the evaporator, causing the refrigerant to change from a liquid to a gas.
Next, this gas is compressed, which significantly increases its temperature. In the condenser, this superheated gas then transfers its accumulated heat directly to your water tank, warming the water.
As it cools down, the refrigerant transforms back into a liquid. Finally, an expansion valve reduces the pressure of this liquid, preparing it to restart the cycle.
Our system is designed for maximum efficiency. The electric back-up heating only activates when necessary, ensuring you have hot water even in extreme conditions, while still prioritizing energy savings.
